There are several courses of action available – each dependent on when your cooker was manufactured.
The remaining parts of the appliance are still able to be used – the recall only affects the front hotplate left burner.
To identify affected appliances, check the model number on the data plate. This can be located by opening the glass lid. The data plate should then be located on the inside front left side of the lid.

With regards to those who are definitely captured by the recall, Swift will continue to provide updates directly to you as the situation changes. So make sure you have registered your appliance with them using the following link: https://swiftappliancegroup.com.au/recall-register
For cookers manufactured between 1 January 2019 and 31 May 2020 (inclusive):
1. Turn the front left burner control knob to the off position, remove the knob and store it out of reach of other users.
2. DO NOT USE the front hotplate left burner. The other burners and the electric hotplate can be used.
3. Contact Swift Appliance Group to arrange for an authorised service agent to inspect your cooker. Swift will repair the cooker, if required.
Swift is also recommending that you install a gas leak detector inside the cupboard underneath the gas cooker if you are intending on travelling off-road. This will mitigate the risks if a gas leak was to occur.
If you are concerned, you might want to consider using a different cooking source until this has been resolved – or use it as an excuse to eat out more often!
